Take the short drive to Magnolia Plantation this Sunday for a bird watching walk through beautiful Magnolia Plantation & Gardens. There are 254 migratory and year round bird species found at Magnolia Plantation, and bird walks are the best way to see as many of these wondrous creatures as possible. Your guide, Perry Nugent, has been actively studying birds for over fifty years, thirty-two of those years in the Charleston area. Since 1988 he has led the bird walks at Magnolia Plantation.
Bird walks last approximately 2 and 1/2 hours, beginning at 8:30 am every Sunday morning. The cost is $17 per person and includes general Garden and Grounds admission plus one additional day within a week of purchase. Refreshments are served at the end of the walk.
