Charleston History Tours
Experience our unique Charleston History Tours by water and delight in her rich heritage and colorful maritime history, spanning over three hundred years. Our guides are all licensed tour guides by the City of Charleston and are prepared to provide you with a very personalized and interactive tour concerning Charleston’s glorious past.
Sites you will see from the water are Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie, the Morris Island and Sullivan’s Island lighthouses, the USS Yorktown and the Arthur Ravenel Bridge.
You will be amazed at how closely you are able to view the stately homes along Charleston’s famous Battery, where in 1861 General Beauregard observed the first shot fired in the Civil War. Where we’re located
All boat tours and charters depart from the Charleston Maritime Center, located at 10 Wharfside Street, not far from the S.C. Aquarium. Snacks, soft drinks, water, beer and wine are available for purchase. A restroom is available on the boat. Free parking and restrooms are also available at the Charleston Maritime Center.
