The Village Knittery, located at 102 Short Central Avenue in historic downtown Summerville, is a quaint yarn shop with an old world feel. Here you will find fine yarns ranging from alpaca and wool to cotton, linen, bamboo and corn from such well known companies as Berrocco, Plymouth, Punta yarns, Lana Grossa, Mission Falls and as well as many others. We also feature locally raised and hand spun alpaca and angora yarns. The Village Knittery carries a full range of needles, accessories, books and with a fabulous collection of unique buttons. Morning and evening classes are offered for the beginner to the advanced knitter. We invite you to come and browse our beautiful yarns or bring a project and sit “for a spell” at the yarn bar.
