Founded in 1991, Charleston Crab House has been “Family Owned for 20 Years & Still Crackin”. Fresh Lowcountry seafood is served everyday in our casual, family friendly Charleston seafood restaurant. Indoor & outdoor seating is offered at our 3 locations: downtown Charleston, James Island, and Shem Creek.
Visit James Island for waterfront dining on the Intracoastal Waterway or Charleston’s historic Market Street for outdoor patio dining, and the Shem Creek location for an easy flow tidal vibe. Fresh blue crabs are delivered to the Crab House dock on the Intracoastal Waterway along with many other local products that our Chef’s hand select to prepare for our many loyal patrons.
Some of our mouth watering favorites are the steamed snow crab legs, the Lowcountry crab cakes, the wasabi encrusted ahi tuna, and the steamed pot crab!
