Nico Romo is one of only 66 French Master Chefs in the country, so it should come as no surprise that before opening an oyster bar on Shem Creek he and some associates embarked on what they playfully refer to as, ”The Nico Oyster Hunt.”
Nico knew he wanted to source the best that could be found on the East Coast. So from Mook Sea Farm in ME, to White Stone Oyster Company in VA, down to Jarrett Bay in NC, and several points in between Nico secured some of the best the east coast has to offer.
Along with bacon clams, fired roasted whole fish, Burgundy sea scallops, and a Bouillabaisse de Marseille, Nico and his staff will take you on a culinary journey. Classic French dishes round out the seafood fare with offerings of Duck Cassoulet, Parisian Gnocchi, and Steak & Frites.
