The Lowcountry’s “real swamp” experience!
Francis Beidler Forest contains the largest virgin stand of Baldcypress/Tupelo Gum swamp forest in the world. 1000-year old trees, abundant native wildlife abound in this untouched Audubon Society sanctuary. Boardwalk trail, or canoeing in season. Tues-Sun, 9-5. 843-462-2150.
